I’ve been collecting Zippos for almost 20 years, and I still can’t remember those confusing, and ever changing dates codes! Sure they have that handy pocket guide, but who really caries that in their pocket? I used to tear off the back page and fold it up and tuck in in my wallet. But over the years when my wallet got fatter and fatter with useless “rewards” cards from the likes of Modell’s, Best Buy, and Subway, the Zippo dates code “cheat sheet” was always one of the first things to go.

Luckily, I always have my iPhone, so it made sense to put out a date code app for Zippo collectors.
