I'm a total Apple addict, as you might tell.

14 Poster Mega-Lot

I scored these 14 posters in a mega-lot for an average of $2.21 each. That’s unheard off! Some of these I’ve seen go for $100 each. Take the iPod and 20 Year Anniversary posters for example.

The seller indicated that some had some pin holes, but I really had my fingers crossed that the iPod and 20 Year Anniversary posters were in good shape. Those were the only two that I was really interested in.

Unfortunately, these posters have seen better days and were not very well taken care of. Some have creases. Some have up to 6 holes in them from thumbtacks. Several are badly yellowed. I know the flash from my camera makes them look pretty white, but trust me, they look pretty yellow and are not worthy of framing.

I only wish this iPod poster was as white as the flash would have you believe, but it’s pretty yellow. Not to mention the 4 holes in the corners. Very disappointing.

The OS X one is petty nice. It’s bright white and hole-free. I think this one’s a keeper.

There’s 2 of these. (One worse than the other.) That makes 3 in all since I already have this one.

Another duplicate. I already have this one.

This iMac poster isn’t dated, but if the other ones are any indication, this looks to be c2001. (That, and the first Apple Store opened in 2001.) This must be pretty rare since it was targeted at employees and was probably not displayed in the stores.

I know the pics look great, but those Newtons are concealing a lot of thumbtack holes. The flash makes them look pretty white, but 8 out of the 14 are very yellow.

I’ll probably keep 2 or 3, and sell the rest. Bummer.
