I'm a total Apple addict, as you might tell.

My MacBook Pro is Finally Here

When I got home from work, I was a little p.o.’d to find the UPS guy had left my $2800 laptop sitting on the front porch without a signature. Needless to say, he was immediately forgiven once the excitement of opening the box set in. Yeh, today was awesome.

I’ve been waiting about two weeks for the machine to come in. I placed my order two weeks ago to find out it was on backorder. I ordered it from because they had a $150 rebate and they threw in a HP inkjet (pictured below) for free after rebate. Sweet deal, so I guess the wait was worth it.

It’s been over a year since I thought about switching. I sold my old Xeon rig, a bunch of old computer parts, and a few odds and ends to get the money for the MacBook Pro. I’m so glad I finally switched! I’m sure I’ll have nothing but good things to say about the Mac. With all my peripherals already purchased, all I have to do is drop in the Mac and my setup is complete.
