AppleToTheCore.me

I'm a total Apple addict, as you might tell.

Goodbye, Old Friend

I sold my MacBook to make way for the imminent MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air updates that are due to arrive next month. Rumor has it the the Air will see a 2.0 CPU upgrade, a 120 Gig SSD, and possibly updated graphics. We’ll see. If I can get an Air to run Aperture and Logic with ease, then Maybe I won’t need a MacBook Pro after all.

Anyway, I sold the MacBook the same day I posted it up on eBay and I got a nice pile of cash for it. I lucked out again. I got back pretty much what I paid for it over a year and a half ago. So in a sense, I got to use the MacBook for over a year and a half for free. My retail Leopard and iLife 08 versions are also up on eBay. I won’t be needing those since the Mac Pro came with them, and my next laptop will too. So if I can pickup another $150, then all the better.

So either a new MacBook, or as I said before, a new Nikon. I'll let fate decide.
