I'm a total Apple addict, as you might tell.

Free iDevices!

My Dad is forever hooking me up with vintage goodies and retired Apple products. My latest score comes in the form of a 1st gen 8GB iPhone and a 1st gen 4GB iPod mini.

They are both in near mint condition.

The backs show a little sign of use with some little scuffing.

I had to leave them plugged in for a bit to charge them up before I could power them on. Once they were good to go, I connected them to iTunes and gave them a fresh restore.

It’s funny how the “Welcome to your new xxx” screen shows the current iPod lineup. It would have been cool if they used the correct image, but I wonder how many people set up a “new” 6 year old iPod. I get it.

Another welcomed addition to my ever-growing collection of iDevices.
